Video: Brunch with Tom Colicchio & Sons

DC foodies are all aTwitter (literally) about Top Chef DC kicking off on June 16th, so when I was in New York I made a point to check out host Tom Colicchio's restaurant - Colicchio & Sons.   The space is both chic and warm - lots of open space, exposed brick and gorgeous natural light. Service was friendly and swift. Check out the video to take a look at the amazing brunch - I had the made-to-order chocolate creme donuts, the crab omelette and the cheese grits:

As you can tell, I loved the entire experience and hope you get to try it out soon. Colicchio & Sons is right across the street from more foodie heaven at the Chelsea Market and the new elevated park called The High Line (h/t @dkny).  Both afforded an opportunity to stroll the historic Meatpacking District of New York City -- and walk off our brunch!
