Poll: White Jeans in Fall?

I have a GREAT pair of white jeans, but as a Southerner I avoid white after Labor Day (or is it Memorial?) This is kind of cool... what do you think? Can an American Florida Girl in DC pull off this Parisian style highlighted today on Sartorialist.com?
